From concept to market
We are developing a world-leading library of endolysins and complementary technologies to create animal feed additives that increase productivity and neutralise those pathogens traditionally managed through antibiotics
Uniquely Formulated Endolysins
In our UK R&D Centre, we discover novel antibacterial enzymes, called endolysins, to target specific gram-negative and gram-positive pathogens traditionally managed through antibiotic supplements in animal feed.
Dependent on the pathogen, the endolysin is then engineered and formulated using the most appropriate expression system.
Our science
The final endolysin formulation then works synergistically to:
① rapidly target and bond to the cell wall of a pathogen
② quickly weaken the cell wall causing it to burst and the pathogen to safely disintegrate
Our R&D library
We are proud to be developing a library of endolysins able to help address the major productivity challenges facing the livestock industry today. By leveraging our existing R&D infrastructure, we continue to expand this library and complementary technologies so that we can broaden the range of pathogenic bacteria we target implicated in zoonotic transfer. This bank of knowledge sits at the heart of our feed additives new product roadmap.
Developing products that count
To develop products that can effect real change, we have to understand the specific challenges being faced by livestock farmers.
That is why we are consistently talking to, and running trials with, each stakeholder in the animal-feed chain. From feed mills to farmers.
From evaluating the sensitivity of pathogenic bacteria isolates to developing custom formulations based on a specific customer’s needs, our Relationship Managers and Scientists are here to work with you.
Hit the button below to learn more. We are here to serve all livestock sectors - poultry, swine, cattle, and equine.
Our flagship tech transfer facility is in north-eastern Georgia, the epicentre of US poultry production. The plant allows us to refine our manufacturing processes in-house and lets our US partners see close-up the fermenters where our proprietary microalgae strains are grown.
Our FDA registered facility is in strict compliance with animal food cGMP standards (21 CFR part 507) and only products that meet our strict quality control standards are released.
Global reach
We are growing our manufacturing network to facilitate wider distribution both within and outside of North America.
